Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to operate concrete mixers and deliver loads to various sites. This role involves navigating different terrains and handling equipment like extension chutes weighing 30-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Delivery & Timeliness: Ensure timely and safe delivery of concrete loads.
• Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to site conditions.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes for precise pouring.
• Truck Maintenance: Keep trucks clean and mechanically sound.
• Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Licenses: Valid CDL A or B; high school diploma preferred; must meet FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements.
• Skills: Proficient in English; clean CSA and MVR records; no recent DUI/DWI; up to 3 moving violations in 3 years; knowledge of safety protocols; good communication; basic truck maintenance knowledge (desirable).

Working Conditions

• Safety: Use protective equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Environment: Work outdoors in diverse conditions.
• Physical Demands: Frequent walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, climbing.
