Job Summary

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential sites. This role involves navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and may require handling extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all regulations and promote a safe environment.
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure timely and safe delivery of concrete loads.
• Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to different site settings.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes for precise pouring.
• Truck Maintenance: Keep the truck clean and mechanically sound.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service and maintain a good company image.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with dispatch and team members for efficiency.

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Educational & Licensing: Valid CDL A or B license; High School diploma preferred; must qualify under FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Skills: Proficiency in English; clean CSA and MVR record; no recent DUI/DWI; no more than 3 moving violations in 3 years; safety protocol knowledge; good communication skills; basic truck maintenance knowledge (desirable).
