JOB TITLE: Driver/Powder Coat General Laborer

JOB SUMMARY

The Driver/Powder Coat General Laborer is responsible for short distance driving between our Diamondback facilities, customers, and vendors as well us undertaking General Laborer duties such as loading and unloading the trucks.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, industrial machine shop, or related work environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Must have a clean shaved face to wear respirator in Powder Coat booth

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • At least 1 year of driving trucks in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and comprehend part prints
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Above average manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work on a team or independently, provide help/assistance to others; communicate verbally and through written or typed communication regularly
  • Strong sense of urgency with ability to work in fast-paced environment

CORE DUTIES

  • Short distance driving between Diamondback facilities, customers, and vendors
  • Maintain driver and mileage logs
  • Communicating with Diamondback facilities, customers, and vendors for pickup and drop off of product
  • Responsible for inspection of incoming and outgoing product
  • Lifting, carrying, and setting up heavy equipment and parts onto racks, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets
  • Preparing parts for the paint shop, steam cleaning motors and chassis, and other general labor may be included
  • Maintain clean and orderly equipment and work areas
  • Prepping and loading product onto low deck trailers
  • Powder coating in large booth and/or auto blasters
  • Assisting with anodize racking as needed
  • Moving parts/products as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

HOURS

  • 1st shift position
  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday- overtime as needed

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background, motor vehicle, and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
