Job summary

Liscio’s Italian Bakery, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Ellis Warehouse in Glassboro, NJ. The role is full-time, overnight PM shift 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, with compensation listed as $22.50 hourly.

You will assemble and organize customer orders and ensure successful delivery to customers. You’ll perform truck inspections, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors. Candidates must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to meet NJ DOT Medical requirements; CDL Class A or B is

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass NJ DOT Medical Examination.
• Must be able to work flexible 8–10 hour shifts, 5 days a week including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• CDL Class A/B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and organize customer orders for delivery.
• Deliver orders to customers and verify receipt.
• Retrieve returned cases and perform truck inspections.
• Lift, carry, sort, and handle packages as needed.
• Work outdoors with travel as required.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for assembling and organizing customer orders, successful delivery of customer orders, retrieval of returned cases, perform truck inspections. This includes lifting, carrying, opening, sorting, and observatory duties as needed. Candidates must be willing and able to work in an outdoor environment involving travel. Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal). Candidates must also be willing to follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.

Position Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the Unites States
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, 8-10 hour shifts, 5 days a week including weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid Motor Vehicle Driver’s License in good standing
• Must be willing and able to pass a NJ DOT Medical Examination
• Must be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis per the Manager
• Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing and able to stand with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Willing and able to read documents and labels
• Willing and able to communicate with employees and discipline if necessary
• Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager

Experience

• commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driving: 2 years (Preferred)

License

• CDL Class A or B (Preferred)
