Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is looking for a delivery driver to service Oregon and surrounding areas. The role involves safe delivery to contractors and job sites, performing pre-route inspections, and maintaining compliance with DOT requirements.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (background check).
• 21 years of age or older.
• Current DMV abstract.
• DOT Medical Examiners Card.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safe and reliable delivery to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Electric locations.
• General warehousing.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Verified by background check.)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Physical requirements can include heavy lifting (70 lbs)
• Warehouse environment and customer locations
• Driving delivery vehicle with GVW under 26,000 lbs. and powered industrial equipment (forklift, etc.)
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires regular and reliable attendance

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
