Job summary

North Coast Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Delivery Driver to service customer job sites and warehouses in the Northwest. You will perform pre-route inspections, load and secure cargo, and support route planning while maintaining high accuracy and strong customer service.

DOE hours and occasional evenings/weekends may be required; benefits include healthcare and retirement plans. Join a team that powers progress for future generations.

What You Will Do

• Making deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and NCElocations
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety & vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation
• Filling orders in support of delivery routes
• Other warehouse duties as assigned

What You Will Bring

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Verified by background check.)
• Age 21 & able to pass DOT Physical
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Ability to learn use of handheld scanners and operating systems
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and great customer service skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (75+ lbs.)
• Driving delivery vehicle with a GVW under 15,000 lbs.
• Warehouse environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, credit check, and motor vehicle record review, as permitted by law and required for the position.

Salary & Compensation

• This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
• Pay is $21.11/hour - $26.39/hour, DOE.
