A premier detox center is seeking a full-time Driver / Transporter to provide safe transportation for patients. Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles, and assisting with various logistics, while ensuring a courteous experience for each patient. Ideal candidates should possess a clean driver’s license, a strong understanding of substance abuse and dual diagnosis, and preferred CPR certification. Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record with no accidents or violations in the past 5 years.
• Understanding of substance abuse issues is critical for working with patients.
• CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for patients to and from various destinations.
• Maintain all vehicles and log maintenance records.
• Assist with picking up and delivering various items as needed.
• Adjust schedule based on patient and facility requirements.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with patients.

Skills

Clean state issued driver’s license

Working knowledge of Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis patients

CPR Certification preferred

Our clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms where good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process. We offer individual and group counseling to clients and bring in 12 Step meetings to show clients they are not alone once they leave treatment.

Driver / Transporter Job Description

Driver is responsible for providing transportation services primarily for patients to and from destinations in a safe and timely manner.

Driver / Transporter Responsibilities

• Provides punctual, courteous service for patients
• Assist in the proper maintenance of all vehicles and vehicle maintenance logs
• Pick up and/or delivery of various items
• Flexible to adjust to patient and facility needs
• Shows the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

Driver / Transporter Requirements

• Clean state issued driver’s license
• No accidents or violations within the past 5 years
• Working knowledge of Substance Abuse and Dual Diagnosis patients
• CPR Certification preferred

Driver / Transporter Schedule

• Full Time
• Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
