Hope Network in Grand Rapids is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Driver to transport passengers and help connect them to work and community resources. This role involves safely managing passenger transport, assisting with accessibility needs, and ensuring vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to scheduled destinations.
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain communication with dispatch/customer care during routes.
• Monitor vehicle cleanliness and basic readiness during service.
• Report delays, incidents, or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow established safety procedures and traffic regulations.
• Complete required safety and transportation training.
• Support a positive, respectful environment for passengers.

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport passengers to scheduled destinations
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair securements when needed
• Maintain communication with dispatch/customer care during routes
• Monitor vehicle cleanliness and basic readiness during service
• Report Delays, incidents, or maintenance concerns promptly
• Follow established safety procedures and traffic regulations
• Complete required safety and transportation training
• Support a positive, respectful environment for passengers

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Additional on-call opportunities also be available.

What You Bring

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous driving or transportation experience
