Job summary

Royal Estates Wichita Falls is seeking a reliable driver to transport residents to and from the facility using company vehicles. You will assist residents entering and exiting vehicles and help with mobility aids as needed.

You will maintain vehicle cleanliness, report defects, follow safety procedures, and complete logs. A valid license and clean driving record are required, along with basic mechanical skills and a neat, professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents to and from the facility using assigned vehicles.
• Helps residents safely enter and exit vehicles using adaptive equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, lifts).
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks.
• Keeps logs or reports as required and adheres to speed limits and safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Driver safely transports residents to and from the facility using company vehicles and will help anyone in need of assistance when entering or exiting the vehicle or with any baggage. He or she is responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicles, reporting any defects or items of concern to the appropriate supervisor.
