Job summary

Monarch Communities in New York is seeking a friendly driver to transport residents to doctor appointments, outings, and shopping, using a safe and courteous approach.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule (20 hours/week, Mon/Wed/Fri 9am-5pm) with CDL required, prior elder care experience preferred, and benefits including PTO and free parking.

Qualifications

• Clean Driver's license record and have a CDL.
• Ability to assist residents on and off vehicle.
• One to two years related experience working with the elderly.
• High school diploma or higher education preferred.

Job Description

We are an assisted living community looking for a friendly and cheerful person who will be driving residents to and from doctor appointments, recreational outings, shopping excursions, and scenic drives.

Schedule: 20 hours per week - flexible (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9a-5p)

Salary: $18.50-$19.00 hourly

Qualifications

Additional Information

Physical Abilities:

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50lbs. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
