Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking a part-time Driver to support the lab by driving a BJC vehicle around campus and collecting specimens for transport back to the lab. The role requires delivering timely services and adhering to schedules in a hospital setting.

Schedule: Part-time with rotating days, 7:30 AM-5 PM, Thursday, Friday, and Monday through Wednesday. Class E MO license required; HS diploma or GED expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class E Driver's License in MO required.
• No prior driver experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely transportation, pick-up and delivery services.
• Ensures timely arrival and departure by following program schedule.
• Advises supervisor and team if unable to follow schedule.

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. Role Purpose

Operates an assigned motor vehicle for the safe and timely transportation of passengers, materials, specimens, mail, and other cargo used in the course of hospital and client business.
