Job summary

University Village Thousand Oaks is hiring a Driver to transport Residents to activities, ensuring safety and timely delivery. A valid CDL and CPR/AED certification are required, along with a good driving record and a high school diploma.

Must be proficient in English and maintain a friendly, helpful attitude. What you will bring includes safe driving, map reading skills, and the ability to document mileage and attendance accurately.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a good driving record.
• Current CPR/AED certification required.
• Ability to understand instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must maintain a courteous, friendly attitude with Residents at all times.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and safely delivers Residents to scheduled activities.
• Completes a safety check of the vehicle before transporting Residents.
• Records vehicle mileage and Resident attendance; maintains logs for CHP inspections.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness inside and out.
• Provides outstanding customer service to Residents, family members and employees.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transporting of Residents to various individual and group activities.

Job Description:

• Picks up and safely delivers Residents to all scheduled activities where transportation is needed.
• Completes a safety check of the vehicle before transporting Residents to and from scheduled trips or activities.
• Accurately records vehicle mileage and Resident attendance for all scheduled transportation. Maintains logs for CHP inspections.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
• Provides outstanding customer service to Residents, family members and employees.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
