Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a part-time Driver for Saturday and Sunday, 9am-5:30pm, with additional weekday shifts as needed. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits accompany a role in a senior living community.

Responsibilities include operating community vehicles safely, assisting residents during transport, and supporting activities while ensuring a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• May be required to vaccinate and wear PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, and activities.
• Assist with loading residents and belongings onto/off community vehicles.
• Follow state and federal laws when operating vehicles.
• Ensure vehicle inspections and safe driving; transport residents punctually and safely.
• Serve as a member of activity staff during outings and in the community.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Promote teamwork and cooperative interaction with staff and other departments.

The Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe driving of the community’s vehicles and supervision of the residents during community outings or trips. Additionally, they may assist in setting up and breaking down activities and events in the Community, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off-of-community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles.
• Comply with standards and processes for proper vehicle inspection and driving. Demonstrate safe driving in getting residents transported. Observes speed limits yet are still punctual and safe in transporting people.
• Act as a member of the activity staff when on outings/excursions and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus
• Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
