Job summary

1-800-Pack-Rat, LLC is hiring a driver to join our fast-growing moving and storage team in Fremont, CA. You will drive a Box truck, load and unload, and deliver with care to customers’ homes. The role requires a valid Class C license, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

We offer competitive wages ($18–$25 per hour) based on experience with weekly and monthly bonuses and daily tips. You’ll be part of a team that values safety, efficiency, and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class C license with clean driving record.
• Positive, professional interaction with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Able to climb stairs daily.
• Able to move furniture and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Home every day.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Box truck and tow a trailer when needed.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture using basic tools.
• Load trucks and containers with household goods.
• Pack items carefully to ensure safe transport.
• Mitigate damage and risk to clients' homes and belongings.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Be coachable, willing to learn, and share knowledge with others.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Drive a Box truck with the ability to tow a trailer

• Careful packing of items to ensure safe transportation during the move


• Attention to detail and proactive mitigation of damage and risk to client’s homes and belongings


• Provide exceptional customer service to clients


• Be coachable and willing to learn, as well as share knowledge and experience with others

Qualification and Skills:
