Job summary

Brookdale Premier Addiction Recovery in Scotrun, PA is seeking an on-call Driver to transport clients to and from the facility for intake, discharge, and appointments. The role requires a courteous and professional attitude, adherence to safety rules, and comfort with driving vans and SUVs. CPR training is provided by the employer; evening and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license for PA or neighboring state.
• Driving record verified through DMV; no outstanding violations.
• Comfort driving passenger vans and SUVs.
• CPR training will be provided by employer.

Position Summary:

The Driver is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation for clients to and from the facility for intake, discharge, and other appointments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide safe and timely transportation of clients to and from the facility for intake, discharge, and other appointments, along with any additional outside appointments.
• Applicant must demonstrate a courteous, professional, and compassionate demeanor towards clients.
• Applicant will be required to follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
• Applicant will be required to adhere to driving safety standards and the facilities expectations (no texting, smoking, and other vehicle rules).

Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Have a valid Driver’s license (NJ or Pennsylvania)
• Have an acceptable driving record which will be verified through the state DMV; no outstanding violations permitted.
• Must be comfortable driving passenger vans and SUV's
• CPR training will be provided.

Employment Status: On-Call

Schedule: Varies, must have evening and weekend availability
