Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for clients to and from the Scotrun, PA facility for intake, discharge, and appointments. The role requires a courteous, professional demeanor and strict adherence to safety policies.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a PA driver's license, and have a clean driving record. CPR training is provided. This is an on-site, on-call position with varying evening and weekend shifts.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide safe and timely transportation of clients to and from the facility for intake, discharge, and other appointments, along with any additional outside appointments.
• Applicant must demonstrate a courteous, professional, and compassionate demeanor towards clients.
• Applicant will be required to follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
• Applicant will be required to adhere to driving safety standards and the facilities expectations (no texting, smoking, and other vehicle rules).

Knowledge, Education, And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• Must be 21 years of age
• Have a valid Driver's license (NJ or Pennsylvania)
• Have an acceptable driving record which will be verified through the state DMV; no outstanding violations permitted.
• Must be comfortable driving passenger vans and SUV's
• CPR training will be provided.

Employment Status: On-Call

Schedule: Varies, must have evening and weekend availability
