Primary Functions

The driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and schedules. Reliability, safety, timeliness, and customer satisfaction are key.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, delivering, and unloading items to clients or businesses safely and timely
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Collecting payments for delivered items as needed
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints
• Following assigned routes and schedules
• Adhering to transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
• Preparing reports related to deliveries
• Operating equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Performing any other duties assigned by management

Skills And Qualifications

• Extensive commercial driving experience with a clean driving record

• Good eyesight and hearing
• Willingness to follow routes, schedules, safety procedures, and laws
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods
