Job summary

The Odom Corporation is seeking a delivery driver in Pullman, WA to deliver and unload beverage products on a defined route. You will collect payments, maintain route documentation, and assist customers during deliveries.

Minimum requirements include 21+ years old, valid license, clean driving record, and strong communication skills. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and signing/retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance.
• Med card required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Copies of your driving record and auto insurance declaration will be required prior to hire.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Beverage industry experience preferred.
• Good customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and unloads beverage products to customers on established route.
• Safely and efficiently delivers product per manifest.
• Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions.
• Maintains accurate records of route and payments.
• Assists customers during delivery as needed.
• Documents customer receipt of product and payment.
• Places stock on shelves or racks.
• Collects or picks up empty containers and unsold merchandise.
• Obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Performs pre-trip/post-trip inspection of vehicle.
• Suggests improvements to profits, quality, and service.

Job Description

Deliver and unload beverage products to customers. Drives vehicle over established route to deliver and sell products, collect money from customers, and make change.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accurately records invoices, credits, or other instructional information on the truck route manifest, complying with any special instructions for proper and efficient delivery.
• Safely and efficiently delivers product to customer per instructions on manifest.
• Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
• Maintains accurate records of route, follows check-in procedures, verifying accurate payment for invoices and checks in any returned product.
• Assists customers during delivery as needed.
• Follows correct procedures to document customer receipt of product, omission or error; collects payment as appropriate.
• Places stock on shelves or racks.
• Collects or picks up empty containers, rejects, or unsold merchandise.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Performs pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and completes pre-trip/post-trip report; distributes as directed.
• Suggests and implements ways for the warehouse and company to improve profits, improve quality, and improve service.
