Job summary

Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. is hiring a Delivery Driver for the Sandusky area. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, stocking, and executing accurate order picking while using bar code scanners.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 75 lbs. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required. We offer weekly pay, paid training, and a 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move incoming or returned items and stock away from the dock.
• Operate bar code scanners and manage paperwork.
• Load and unload trucks and perform light truck maintenance.
• Attach labels and identify inventory for picking and shipping.
• Pick orders and transfer items to shipping or will-call areas.
• Perform general warehouse duties and assist with inventory.

Hours:

Location: Sandusky

Summary of Job Duties:

• Put incoming or returned items from shipping dock onto stock picker platform by hand and puts material away in storage racks
• Handles wire aisle, bar code scanners
• loading and unloading trucks
• light truck maintenance
• truck inspections
• working with paperwork
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
• Use bar code scanner to identify items when putting inventory away or picking items
• Picking Orders, material handling, reads order-picking labels or follows oral instructions to determine items to be moved or gathered to fill an order and records number of items moved or handled on picking labels
• Transfers heavy or light and bulky items by hand from inventory in storage racks onto stock picker platform
• Conveys materials on stock picker from inventory storage to designated will call or shipping dock delivery area
• Other duties as assigned including stocking, inventory and related warehouse duties

Job Requirements/Expectations:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. regularly
• Good Driving Record
• Drive company vehicles in a safe manner at all times, obey all traffic laws.
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Wear steel-toed shoes
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Previous warehouse experience
• Forklift experience preferred, not required
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to evolving job tasks
