Purpose

Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering materials to customer sites, adhering to safety and compliance regulations, delivering goods on schedule, and providing professional customer service. Vehicles weigh 10,001-26,000 pounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and secure products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites, unload safely, and verify order accuracy.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, including weights, mileage, and locations.
• Act as a customer service liaison, resolving concerns as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices for compliance, except while driving.
• Maintain hours of service logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.
• Operate forklifts or non-motorized equipment for loading and unloading.
• Observe all safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license.
• Previous delivery experience preferred.
• Pass MVR report and obtain DOT medical card.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Work Environment & Physical Activity

Work involves physical activities such as lifting up to 100 pounds frequently, possibly up to 200 pounds with assistance, climbing, and operating delivery vehicles. Work is performed in a production environment with temperature variations, noise, dust, and exposure to chemicals.
