Driver - Non CDL Cart Delivery (Port St. Lucie)

Position Summary

The driver's position is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle to deliver containers to customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Complete pre/post-operation checks of the vehicle, including tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components.
  2. Safely operate commercial vehicles on routes that include roads, neighborhoods, and alleys.
  3. Control vehicle functions manually and/or automatically in compliance with safety regulations.
  4. Engage courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely and professional service.
  5. Monitor vehicle status to ensure operational readiness and reduce downtime.
  6. Accurately complete paperwork and reports.
  7. Maintain departmental productivity standards for timely service.
  8. Follow and enforce safety regulations and procedures.
Education and Job Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience with front load vehicles required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
  • Compliance with FCC’s drug-free workplace policy, including substance abuse testing.
