Job summary

DPR Construction in California is seeking a Transportation and Delivery Associate who will safely operate company vehicles, deliver and collect materials, and ensure accurate transport documentation to support our projects.

You will maintain vehicle condition, perform routine inspections, support warehouse operations, and provide courteous service to internal teams, vendors and project sites while following safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years' experience operating non-CDL commercial vehicles.
  • Valid state driver's license; forklift/aerial lift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Transports materials between company locations, vendors, and project sites in a safe and timely manner.
  • Reviews daily delivery and pickup schedules, verifies order accuracy, and ensures materials are properly loaded, secured, and documented prior to departure.
  • Delivers orders and obtains required signatures, returning completed tickets and documentation for processing.
  • Performs routine vehicle inspections and reports maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintains vehicle cleanliness and supports compliance with registration and insurance requirements.
  • Assists with warehouse operations including receiving, organizing, and inventory counts.
  • Participates in safety training and applies safe handling and loading practices.

Job Summary

Performs transportation and delivery functions to support business operations by safely operating company vehicles, delivering and collecting materials, and ensuring accurate documentation of transport activities. Maintains vehicle condition, adheres to regulatory and company safety standards, and provides courteous service to internal and external partners. Assists with warehouse operations and contributes to overall branch organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Education Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience

1 - 2 years of experience operating non-CDL commercial vehicles in delivery or transportation roles required. Experience operating light to medium-duty trucks preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

Valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to vehicle class and good driving record required. Forklift and/or aerial lift certification preferred.
