The Driver (Non-CDL)/Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering insulation products to scheduled job sites based on an assigned schedule. This role involves ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining professional interactions with customers, assisting with warehouse operations, and loading/unloading trucks. Description

The Driver (Non-CDL)/Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering insulation products to scheduled job sites based on an assigned schedule. This role involves ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining professional interactions with customers, assisting with warehouse operations, and loading/unloading trucks. Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip inspections, including pre-inspection forms, and complete minor maintenance if needed.
• Report any mechanical or maintenance-related issues to the Division Manager promptly.
• Handle shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Complete daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Process paperwork, including tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensure customer’s signature on the receipt of materials and collect COD charges when specified.
• Verify material counts for accuracy to ensure correct inventory.
• Pull, stage, and load outgoing material orders.
• Report any issues discovered at the job site to the Division Manager.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26’ box truck, automatic transmission, or similar vehicle) required.
• Ability to meet all DOT regulations and maintain a med card required.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out of the back of the vehicle.
• Ability to read maps as needed.
• Driving Duties. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
