Job summary

Mechanical Insulation Supply Inc. in North Highland seeks a non-CDL driver for insulation material delivery with loading/unloading at job sites. Some warehouse work and strong customer service are required.

DOT compliance and safe driving are essential. Weekend off flexibility may be offered based on schedule. The role includes maintaining the truck, daily pre-trip inspections, and handling paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires one year of experience in driving a straight truck.
• Requires ability to work a flexible schedule based on need and schedules.
• Requires valid driver's license and good driving record per policy and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive to deliver material and load/unload within a set schedule.
• Maintain truck and perform daily pre-trip inspections; report issues.
• Complete daily DOT logs and pre-inspection forms.
• Process paperwork including tickets and bills of lading; obtain signatures and CODs as needed.
• Report issues to Division Manager and coordinate with customers.
• Read maps to determine fastest routes to job sites and other locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mechanical Insulation Supply Inc. in North Highland is looking for a driver who would be responsible for delivery of insulation products which requires unloading and loading of product to the scheduled job sites in a timely manner. Some warehouse work is required as needed. Customer service with customers is essential in this position when delivering material to job sites and customer offices. Safely driving within the DOT guidelines is required.

• Driving to deliver material and the loading and unloading of material within a pre-determined driving schedule.
• Maintains truck, preforms daily pre-trip inspections and provides minor maintenance on truck if needed. Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues that need to be repaired to the Division Manager.
• As required, completes daily DOT logs according to the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation. Pre-inspection forms are filled out daily.
• Processes paperwork including, but not limited to tickets, bills of lading, etc., making sure the customer signs the receipt of material and collecting on COD charges when specified.
• Reports back to Division Manager any issues that were addressed at the job site for response back to the customer.
• Read maps efficiently to determine quickest routes to job sites and other delivery locations.
• Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
