Job summary

Bay Insulation Systems is seeking a Driver (Non CDL) to deliver insulation products to scheduled job sites in California, ensuring on-time arrivals and professional customer interactions. The role also supports warehouse functions, loading and unloading trucks as needed.

This full-time position requires at least one year of straight-truck driving experience, a valid med card, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26’ box truck, automatic transmission, or similar).
• Ability to receive and maintain a med card.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out back of the vehicle.
• Valid license and an acceptable driving record as per insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily pre-trip inspections and minor maintenance.
• Reports issues to Division Manager promptly.
• Performs shipping and receiving duties including data entry and verification of quantities.
• Completes daily logs in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures client signatures on receipts and COD charges when specified.
• Maintains accurate inventory and counts.
• Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders.
• Reports job-site issues to Division Manager.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily pre-trip inspections, including pre-inspection forms and completes minor maintenance if needed.
• Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Division Manager in a timely manner.
• Performs shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and documentation.
• Completes daily logs in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
• Ensures the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges when specified.
• Ensures correct inventory by verifying material counts for accuracy.
• Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders.
• Reports any issues to the Division Manager that were discovered at the job site.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26’ box truck, automatic transmission, or similar vehicle), required.
• Ability to receive and maintain a med card, required.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out back of the vehicle.
• As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
