Job summary

MTM Transit in Navajo County, AZ is seeking Drivers to provide safe, reliable non-emergency transportation for neighbors in the community. Training classes start weekly.

You will operate a company vehicle using tablets and GPS, delivering excellent customer service while following DOT, ADA, and FTA regulations. You must meet age, license, background, and medical screening requirements. MTM offers a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years driving history.
• No pending charges.
• No convicted felony charges in past 7 years.
• No DUI or DWI convictions.
• Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation.
• Must pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols.
• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop-off of the customer.
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.

Experience, Education & Certifications:
