Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Bowling Green, Kentucky is seeking movers and drivers to join their team with immediate hiring. Workers will provide exceptional customer service, handle customer belongings, and ensure safe truck operations.

Starting pay is $16/hour for movers and $18/hour for drivers, along with opportunities for raises, benefits, and performance bonuses.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be 18 or older for movers, and able to lift/carry heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Experience in truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is helpful.
• Ability to communicate professionally, verbally, and in writing in English.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while moving, packing, and unpacking belongings.
• Greet customers and complete a walk-through.
• Load and unload a moving truck and conduct daily truck inspections.

What You'll Do

You and your team will…

• Work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings
• Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the home/business
• Load and unload a 26-foot moving truck
• Complete paperwork and payment collection
• Safely operate the truck and perform daily truck inspections and moving equipment inventory checks

What We're Looking For

• We hire for attitude and train for skill; however, experience in general labor positions such as truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is helpful.
• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years or older for movers; 21 years or older for drivers due to insurance restrictions
• Ability to communicate professionally, verbally, and in writing, in English
• Good work ethic and a positive, professional attitude
• Physical stamina to lift/carry 100 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
