Position Details:
We are seeking a Driver Merchandiser based in Ft. Myers, working 3:00 am until finish, 4 days a week with Sundays off.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and unload products at customer locations on designated routes.
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with beverage products.
- Check load accuracy and stability.
- Deliver products, merchandise, and rotate stock according to standards.
- Invoice and collect payments.
- Pick up company property and secure assets.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Utilize smartphone technology for orders and invoicing.
- Follow routing software guidance and comply with electronic logging systems.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid Commercial Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record in the past 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of general work experience.
- Ability to operate hand-trucks and industrial equipment, and obtain a powered industrial truck certification.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and ability to pass DOT physical and/or hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to operate manual transmission.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in commercial driving, local delivery, customer service, or cash handling.
- HazMat endorsement may be required.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Push, pull, and maneuver manual transport equipment over distances.
- Stand up to 10 hours, walk at least 4 hours during shifts.
- Work in hot/humid environments and use audio headsets.
