Driver Merchandiser - CDL A Required (Finance)

Coke Florida is seeking a Driver Merchandiser with CDL A license, based in Sarasota, FL. The role involves working five 10-hour shifts on weekends, starting at 3:00 AM until finish.

What You Will Do:

As a Driver Merchandiser, your responsibilities include delivering and unloading products at customer locations on designated routes. This fast-paced role involves stocking beverages on shelves, displays, and coolers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive and deliver pre-ordered products to assigned accounts, ensuring proper rotation and stocking.
• Check load accuracy and stability.
• Deliver products and merchandise according to company standards.
• Invoice and collect payments.
• Pick up company property and secure assets.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Use smartphone technology for orders and invoicing.
• Utilize electronic logging and fleet management systems.
• Follow routing software guidance.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid Commercial Class A driver's license.
• No major moving violations in the last three years.
• Minimum of 1 year of general work experience.
• Ability to operate hand-truck and industrial equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial truck certification.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Pass a DOT physical and/or hold a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Operate manual transmission vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Local delivery experience.
• Customer service and cash handling skills.
• Grocery store or consumer products experience.
• HazMat endorsement (may be required).

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including manual transport equipment, over distances.
• Perform physical activities such as kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending.
• Stand up to 10 hours and walk at least 4 hours during shifts.
• Work in hot/humid environments.
• Use audio headsets for directions.
