Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting drivers with delivery and merchandising of products.

People or Process Management Responsibility:

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Assists driver in delivery of products to customers
2. Unloads product
3. Merchandises customer accounts
4. Maintains customer relationships; merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards
5. Pick up company property
6. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
7. Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

1. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2. Must be at least 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
3. At least six (6) months of relevant work experience, such as working in a distribution warehouse, grocery store, farm, construction, or healthcare environment involving heavy lifting and multi-temperature handling.
4. Reliable automobile transportation with an acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum required by the company and state law.
5. Ability to lift products weighing from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. regularly.
6. Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

1. Experience with handheld ordering devices, merchandising, grocery stocking, or local delivery and unloading.
2. Prior customer service experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to handle exposure to temperature changes, high noise levels, and work safely around moving equipment.
