Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting drivers with delivery and merchandising of products.

People or Process Management Responsibility:

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Assists driver in delivery of products to customers
2. Unloads product
3. Merchandises customer accounts
4. Maintains customer relationships
5. Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards
6. Pick up company property
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
8. Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

1. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2. Must be at least 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
3. Must have six (6) months of work experience in related environments such as distribution warehouses, construction, grocery docks, or healthcare settings involving heavy lifting and temperature variations.
4. Must have reliable automobile transportation, a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and auto insurance coverage as per company and legal requirements.
5. Ability to lift products weighing 25 to 50 lbs regularly.
6. Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

1. Experience with handheld ordering devices, merchandising, grocery stocking, or local delivery.
2. Prior customer service experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to work in all temperature conditions, handle high noise levels, and operate around moving equipment safely.
