Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting drivers with delivery and merchandising of products.

People or Process Management Responsibility:

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Assists driver in delivery of products to customers
2. Unloads product
3. Merchandises customer accounts
4. Maintains customer relationships
5. Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards
6. Pick up company property
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
8. Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

1. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
2. Must be at least 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
3. Six (6) months of work experience in related roles such as warehouse, construction, or healthcare environments involving heavy lifting.
4. Reliable automobile transportation, valid driver license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance coverage.
5. Ability to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. regularly.
6. Pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

1. Experience with handheld ordering devices, merchandising, or grocery store operations.
2. Prior customer service experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to handle exposure to temperature changes, high noise levels, and work safely around moving equipment. Overtime and punctuality are essential due to delivery schedules and regulatory requirements. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
