Job summary

Chesterman Company in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to drive and deliver pre-ordered products to assigned accounts and to stock product per company standards.

The role involves loading/unloading, invoicing and collecting payments, and daily settlement of accounts. A valid Class A CDL and DOT compliance are required, with a 4:30am start on weekdays.

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver pre-ordered product to assigned accounts.
• Check load accuracy and stability; deliver to customers; merchandise and rotate stock.

Position Summary: Responsible for driving and delivery of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts and for rotating and stocking product.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Check accuracy and stability of the load
• Deliver products to customer
• Merchandise, display and rotate products according to company standards
• Invoice and collect monies due
• Pick up company property
• Secure company assets
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Settle all accounts daily
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Qualifications: Education/Experience:

• High-School Diploma/GED
• Ability to operate two or four wheel dolly
• Familiarity with DOT regulations; must be able to meet all DOT physical requirements
• Valid Class A CDL and driving record within MVR policy guidelines

Work Environment: Depends upon the customer the employee is serving. May have to climb stairs and work in back rooms. Subject to outside elements and may have to work in heat, cold, rain, and snow.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday; 430am until route completion
