Coke Florida is seeking a Driver Merchandiser based in Tampa. The role involves a 4:00am start, working 4 days a week with Saturdays required.
What You Will Do
As a Coke Florida Driver Merchandiser, you will deliver and unload products at customer locations on designated routes. This fast-paced role involves stocking beverage brands on shelves, displays, and in coolers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive and deliver pre-ordered products to assigned accounts, ensuring proper rotation and stocking.
- Check the accuracy and stability of loads.
- Deliver products to customers.
- Merchandise, display, and rotate products according to standards.
- Invoice and collect payments.
- Pick up company property and secure assets.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Settle accounts daily.
- Use smartphone technology for orders and invoicing.
- Utilize electronic logging systems and fleet management technology.
- Follow routing software guidance.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Valid Commercial Class A driver's license.
- No major moving violations in the past three years.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Ability to operate hand-trucks and industrial equipment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial truck certification.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations.
- Pass a DOT physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card.
- Operate manual transmission.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
- Local delivery experience.
- Customer service and cash handling experience.
- Grocery store or consumer products experience.
- HazMat endorsement (may be required).
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting, carrying, and positioning objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Operating manual transport equipment over distances.
- Repetitive grasping and manipulation.
- Standing up to 10 hours and walking at least 4 hours during shifts.
- Working in hot/humid environments.
- Using audio headsets for directions.
