Job description

Join to apply for the Driver/Material Handler Packaging role at Brook + Whittle.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting all policies, procedures, and safety regulations of Brook & Whittle and the Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Department.
2. Safely driving a 26’, 26,000 lb. straight box truck within approximately 100 miles of the facility.
3. Using electric and manual pallet jacks to move pallets up to 2,000 lbs. during loading and unloading.
4. Maintaining the truck, including fuel, DEF levels, and cleanliness.
5. Understanding weight distribution when loading the truck.
6. Maintaining a neat, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
7. Performing other duties as assigned to maximize efficiency in pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications include:

1. High School diploma or GED (required); Fork Lift Certification (desired).
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
3. Clean driver’s license with at least one year of driving history; must be at least 25 years old.
4. Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.
5. Eligibility to work in the United States without restrictions.
