Job Title: Driver - Material Handler

Join our team at ADVATIX - Advanced Supply Chain and Logistics as a Driver - Material Handler. This role involves picking up and delivering products and materials using company vehicles, as well as warehouse duties including receiving, storage, packaging, shipping, and distribution within the warehouse. The Driver - Material Handler reports to the Warehouse Supervisor or Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pick up and deliver products using company vehicles within the local area.
2. Pull correct quantities of products from inventory based on picking/transfer tickets.
3. Build cartons and pack products securely for outbound shipments to prevent damage.
4. Complete deliveries by driving trucks to and from customer or vendor locations.
5. Unload materials from trucks and verify receipt against packing slips or delivery tickets.
6. Verify received products against vendor packing lists and record quantities on PO Stock Tickets.
7. Store products in designated inventory locations and record new locations as needed.
8. Perform inventory control audits to ensure accuracy.
9. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders.
10. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report issues to the branch manager.
11. Maintain cleanliness and safety of company trucks, conducting preventive maintenance checks.
12. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
13. Follow safety protocols at all times.
14. Transport products to local customers using company trucks and trailers.

Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, perform basic math, and use measurement units.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 70 pounds occasionally.
• Knowledge of warehousing best practices.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for receiving and shipping tasks.
