Job Description:

Main Purpose:

Marken Drivers are instrumental in providing logistical support & services to Marken’s wide variety of clinical trial and pharmaceutical clients by providing temperature-controlled shipping & delivery solutions, including specialized packaging, tracking devices, & temperature monitors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review the Cargo Receiving Log daily.
• Deliver and recover shipments to and from the airport.
• Ensure vehicle is secured while waiting to tender cargo at airline terminal or conducting a pick-up at a site for a client.
• Check Airway Bills for accurate and correct information.
• Review appropriate documentation, labeling, and markings included with each shipment.
• Prepare Next Flight Out (NFO) shipments.
• Replenish dry ice and gel packs for shipments requiring temperature control.
• Scan, package, and label inbound shipments before tendering for final destination, domestic or international.
• Keep the Vehicle Log up to date, including mileage and initial inspection for TSA compliance.
• Perform other duties as required to assist the Operations Team with daily tasks.

The starting pay for this position is $20 per hour, reflecting labor costs across US markets.

Qualifications:

• High school education or GED.
• At least 1 year of professional delivery driving experience.
• Experience in courier or freight industry preferred.
