Job summary

Schneider in Portland, OR is seeking a Driver Manager to ensure successful delivery execution through effective driver management. You will serve as the link between the business, our drivers and customers, coordinating schedules and performance.

This full-time role operates on-site (First shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.) and involves coaching drivers, payroll tasks, and collaboration with multiple teams. Comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Balance the needs of our customers, drivers and the business.
• Provide continuous, structured and proactive performance management and coaching to drivers.
