Supply Chain, Procurement & Transportation - Souderton, Pennsylvania

The applicant must possess strong management capabilities to oversee multiple areas and coordinate training efforts to promote consistency, accuracy, and safety.

Key skills include strong communication with management and drivers, as well as the ability to develop, coach, and counsel drivers to foster success and address areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee all raw material driver-related functions, including operations, safety, compliance, benefit time, employee relations, customer service claims, and breakdowns.
  2. Maintain effective communication with routing, scheduling, and customer service teams to ensure route efficiency and timely completion.
  3. Coordinate with maintenance to ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are performed based on driver feedback and concerns.
  4. Assist with HR initiatives, including submitting documents to payroll, issuing disciplinary actions, and facilitating communication between drivers and management.
  5. Administer daily and weekly business reports.
  6. Participate in post-accident, injury, and spill investigations as needed.
  7. Contribute to the Accident Review Committee.
  8. Coordinate and participate in training sessions.
  9. Assess customer locations and container areas for concerns and recommend improvements.
  10. Provide coverage for Finished and Raw Dispatch teams in their absence.
Qualifications:
  • General experience in the trucking industry.
  • Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and general computer software.
  • Experience with Geotab is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of FMCSA Hours of Service and compliance regulations.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proven leadership qualities, dependability, and reliability.
