Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee driver assignments, optimize dispatch operations, and ensure safety compliance. The role emphasizes building strong driver relationships, coordinating with customers, and maximizing equipment utilization to drive profitability.

The Driver Manager will monitor hours of service, enforce DOT/OSHA rules, and report to the Terminal Manager. A background in dispatch and driver management is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Some travel to corporate office and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with drivers to ensure their needs are met.
• Communicate in a timely and effective manner with customers to ensure a high level of service.
• Maximize driver availability to fully utilize equipment for maximum revenue and profitability.
• Review dispatch sheets and driver assignments to ensure loads are dispatched.
• Enter load information into the TMW system and prepare Delivery Receipts for each load.
• Provide documentation and communicate to drivers all pertinent information for scheduled loads.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, including OSHA and DOT policies.
• Report to Terminal Manager and collaborate with terminal management.

We strive to be the BEST at everything we do.**Position Summary**The Driver Manager will be responsible and accountable for assigning jobs to ensure efficient driver operations.
