Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Luggage Truck Driver in Skagway for the seasonal transportation role. You will help deliver guest luggage safely and on time, contributing to a smooth embarkation and departure experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid driver's license with three years of clean driving history.
• Must have CDL Class B with air brake endorsement (may be obtained through company training).

• Minimum age 21; eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform driving and luggage handling tasks.
• Routinely drive a luggage truck, load/unload luggage, and deliver bags.
• Assist with lost luggage claims.
• Load/unload luggage from truck and motorcoaches.
• Perform basic mechanical duties.

As a Luggage Truck Driver, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. More than transporting bags, you're ensuring that every suitcase, duffel, and keepsake arrives safely and on time. With a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail, you help create a smooth, welcoming arrival and departure for thousands of guests—making their home-away-from-home feel just a little more comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of driving and luggage handling tasks.
• Routinely, drives a truck, loads and unloads luggage, picks-up and delivers luggage.
• Assists with lost luggage claims.
• Loads and unloads luggage from truck and motorcoaches.
• Performs basic mechanical duties.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license, with three (3) years clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested.
• Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements.
• Current, valid Commercial Driver's License, Class B with an air brake endorsement is required. (May be obtained through Company training course.)
• Must be certified as physically qualified through a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
• You will also be entered into our random drug testing program.
• Minimum age of 21 is required for your CDL.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all guests, coworkers, and vendors.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
