Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a qualified Log Truck Driver for our trucking division. This role offers pay from $28.90 to $33.90 per hour and a signing bonus of up to $1,500.

We train and promote from within, and provide excellent low-cost health benefits and a retirement plan with employer‑paid contributions. We are a fourth‑generation family‑owned company with over 6,000 employees across sawmills and related facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record and good work references.
• 1-year commercial truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive log trucks in accordance with traffic laws.
• Load and secure log loads and transport to destination.
• Perform daily inspection of truck.
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking.
• Meet dispatch schedules on time.
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Log Truck Driver for our trucking division based in Eugene, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial truck driver, or a training opportunity with the qualifications below.

About the Position

• Drive log trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure log loads and transport to destination
