Job summary

NRS, Inc. is seeking a CDL A local driver for Savannah, GA to handle local port runs. You will operate in the port area with no-touch freight and daily home time, following DOT rules to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A license and meet DOT requirements.
• At least 1 year of Class A driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Clean MVR/PSP preferred; safe driving history required.
• Able to read, write, and speak English per DOT.
• Able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical exams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform local runs to Savannah port and surrounding area.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain logs accurately.
• No-touch freight; ensure safe loading and unloading practices.
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections and report any issues.

Job Description

Keystone Freight is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A Local Driver in Savannah, GA to do local runs to and from the PORT.

• Pay: $25 per Hour
• Avg Weekly: up to $1500 (OT included)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday occasional Saturday's
• Shift: 6AM Dispatch
• Service area: Savannah port & occasional drayage from Charleston Port
• Close Proximity to Port (3 miles)

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
• Must maintain a safety-focused driving history; clean MVR/PSP and employment history preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical qualifications
• Current DOT physical certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
