Covenant Living and CovenantCare at Home is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator / Driver to safely transport residents and actively support a vibrant activities program. You will help residents participate in social, recreational, educational, cultural, and wellness activities while ensuring their safety and comfort.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license (CDL if applicable), and 2+ years of experience.

Life Enrichment Coordinator / Driver

The Life Enrichment Coordinator / Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for residents while supporting a vibrant activities program that promotes social engagement, wellness, independence, and overall quality of life. This role serves as a key contributor to creating meaningful experiences for residents through transportation services, activities, events, and community outings.

Essential Responsibilities

• Drive the community van for scheduled appointments, outings, and resident activities.
• Assist residents safely onto and off the vehicle and escort them to their destination when needed.
• Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of life enrichment programs and activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, educational, cultural, and wellness programs.
• Assist with setting up, facilitating, and cleaning up activity events and community gatherings.
• Develop positive relationships with residents and provide companionship and engagement opportunities.
• Accompany residents on community outings and special events, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
• Maintain attendance records and activity participation logs as directed.
• Notify supervisor of vehicle maintenance or repair needs.
• Complete vehicle inspection checklists and monitor fuel levels before each trip.
• Monitor and comply with vehicle inspection and maintenance schedules.
• Help maintain a safe community environment by identifying and reporting hazards.
• Clean the interior and exterior of the van on a regular basis.
• Assist with decorating common areas for holidays, special events, and community celebrations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support resident engagement and quality of life.

Education and Work Experience

Required Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate(s): Valid Driver’s License and CDL License, if applicable Experience: 2+ Years

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

• Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office/community setting.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate various equipment base on department and weather conditions
• Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers – typing and/or writing.
• Clarity of Vision For near visual acuity Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
• For Far visual acuity, Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
• This is not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well.
• For peripheral vision, observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.

Compensation

Pay Range: $14.44 - $18.80 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $14.44 - $18.80 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
