This position supports driver license center operations by assisting customers, processing applications, and performing required testing and documentation tasks. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

• Customer Assistance: Greet customers, review identification, and guide them through required applications and forms
• Test Administration: Give vision screenings and standardized knowledge tests using approved tools and procedures
• Data Entry: Enter customer information, test results, and application details into online systems
• Service Guidance: Provide information about licensing services, renewals, transfers, and REAL ID requirements
• Document Processing: Prepare letters, review documents, and ensure correct codes and procedures are used
• Policy Compliance: Follow customer service standards, safety rules, and state regulations in all job functions

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 40 hours/week
• Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime and travel to other driver license centers may be required as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
