This role is focused on serving customers at PennDOT Driver License Centers and supporting safe and accurate processing of driver license applications. It involves reviewing documents, assisting applicants, completing data entry, and helping customers understand licensing requirements. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:
Customer Assistance: Greet applicants, verify identification documents, and provide forms and guidance based on customer needs
Knowledge Testing: Administer vision screenings and standardized knowledge tests to assess applicant readiness
Data Processing: Enter applicant information, test results, and licensing details accurately into online systems
Service Guidance: Explain licensing requirements, REAL ID rules, commercial license steps, and renewal or replacement procedures
Problem Resolution: Respond to public questions, address concerns, and produce restoration requirement letters when appropriate
Policy Compliance: Follow customer service policies, REAL ID regulations, fee waiver guidelines, and Title VI requirements
