Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Lead Driver at the Harford Facility located at 1015 Pulaski Hwy, Joppa. The role focuses on guiding and mentoring drivers, handling transportation inquiries, and maintaining essential records to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Orientation, training, and supervision of drivers.
Receive transportation calls/inquiries and respond appropriately.
Complete all required reports for the Transportation Department.
Model appropriate driver skills to other drivers.
Work autonomously while transporting clients and in related tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of company information.
Complete all required trainings designated by the company and accrediting entities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Lead Driver plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of transportation services by guiding and mentoring drivers, managing transportation inquiries, and maintaining essential records.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Orientation, training, and supervision of drivers.
Receive transportation calls/inquiries and respond appropriately.
Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department.
Model appropriate driver skills to other drivers.
Work autonomously while transporting clients and in other applicable tasks.
Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding all company information.
Complete all required training as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide training and day-to-day guidance to the assigned transportation team.

Required Qualifications

Education, Licensure, & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience providing healthcare transportation preferred.
Valid Driver’s License within the state of employment; must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.
