Gary’s Roofing, part of the Bone Dry family, is seeking a driven Driver/General Laborer for field work in Sarasota, FL. You will drive trucks to job sites, perform light construction tasks, and ensure site cleanup while maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

A valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and willingness to travel to local job sites are essential. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Position Overview

As a Driver/General Laborer you would drive trucks and trailers to and from the job sites while also being responsible for job site clean up. A clean driving record is required and Spanish is not required but would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform driver duties and physical general labor duties in an outdoor work environment
• Perform necessary travel as described in the scope of work. Scope of work can include but is not limited to driving to and from job sites and taking the trailer to the dump.
• Responsible for job site clean up
• Keep the company truck clean at all times
• Work under the direction of the Field Project Foreman/Supervisor to complete labor duties on the job site
• Help set up tarps, ladders, and safety equipment at the job site.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license in order to operate any company vehicles.
• Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies

• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Work Environment

• This position primarily involves working in the field at work sites
• Must be able to work in varied weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.
