Our team of experts takes pride in ensuring homes are safe, secure, and comfortable. We are now seeking a motivated General Laborer to join our growing family.
As a General Laborer with Bone Dry Roofing, you will play an important role in performing physical labor and necessary onsite job work that will help our Roofing Team. This position is primarily field-based and includes daily travel to local work sites and job sites in a physically demanding environment. Responsibilities include helping set up tarps, ladders, and safety equipment at the job site, working closely with the Field Project Foreman or Supervisor to complete jobs, and collaborating to pick up needed materials for the project before heading out. Additionally, you will work with the Production Manager to ensure the shop and yard area at the office is kept clean, presentable, and that all material is properly put away. Successful candidates will be self-motivated to complete jobs prior to deadlines, show a strong commitment to putting a Bone Dry sign in each customer's yard, and maintain the company truck to ensure it is clean and in full compliance with DOT regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a strong willingness to climb ladders and work at heights to determine work needs. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers are essential for representing our company in the field. Candidates must possess a current valid driver’s license in order to operate company vehicles and must comply with all company safety and personnel policies. You must be able to work in varied weather conditions, lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 100 pounds as needed for heavy materials. Flexibility is essential, as candidates must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen, travel to the work area on a daily basis, and work two Saturdays per month during our busy season from March to November.
