Job summary

Service Sanitation is hiring for a CDL-position in Indianapolis, IN. You will pick up and service portable restrooms, drive a pumper truck, and ensure DOT logs and paperwork are accurate. OT opportunities and competitive wages accompany a sign-on bonus and weekly pay.

Requirements include a valid CDL with a clean driving record or Indiana endorsement, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a current DOT medical card. Safety-focused, with potential for pay raises and benefits over time.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull items up to 80 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Pick-up, deliver, move portable restroom equipment safely and efficiently on and off truck and trailer.
• Perform service duties to high standards, including evacuating waste tanks, scrubbing, stocking, and dating units.
• Drive and operate a stake-bed/pumper vac-truck up to 26,000 lbs and tow trailers.
• Complete daily paperwork (work orders, route sheets, DOT logs) accurately.
• Work independently, stay productive, communicate with dispatch and manager.
• Demonstrate strong communication and customer service.
• Follow DOT regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures.
• Use technology and navigation to improve performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick-up, deliver, move portable restroom equipment safely and efficiently on and off truck and trailer by hand and dolly.
• Performing service duties to the high standards set by SSI, including evacuating waste tanks, scrubbing, stocking, and dating units.
• Drive and operate a specialized stake-bed/pumper vac-truck weighing up to 26,000 lbs., along with towing flatbed trailers loaded with portable restrooms.
• Completing daily paperwork, such as work orders, route sheets, and DOT logs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Working independently, maintaining productivity, and fostering open communication with the dispatch center and manager.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, listening, and observation skills to deliver a superior level of customer service.
• Adhering to all D.O.T regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures to create a secure and efficient work environment.
• Utilizing technology and navigation skills to enhance job performance.

Requirements
